On “Science Day” at the University of Stuttgart on June 27, 2026 the faculty once again held its mathematics and physics competition for high school students.
The Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium in Ettlingen took first place with 23 out of 24 points. Second place went to the Evangelische Firstwald Gymnasium in Mössingen and the Karlsgymnasium in Stuttgart, each with 22 points. The LGH Schwäbisch Gmünd and the Ubbo-Emmius-Gymnasium Leer shared two third prizes, each with 21 points.
This year’s problems covered the fields of stochastics, combinatorial geometry, and electrodynamics. In addition to written solutions, videos were submitted and evaluated.
