At the Conference on Decision and Control (CDC 2024), which took place in Milan from December 16 to 19, 2024 with almost 2500 participants, Prof. Carsten Scherer (IMNG - Institute for Mathematical Methods in Engineering, Numerics and Geometric Modeling) gave one of the keynote speeches. In his one-hour lecture entitled “From Dissipativity to the Design of Controllers for Optimization”, Prof. Scherer reported on his latest research findings as one of the leading experts in the field of systems theory and optimization.
