The faculty invites applications for a tenured associate professor position

We invite applications for a tenured associate professor position in the physics department in the area of integrated quantum optics. The professor position is located at the interface between experimental physics and electrical engineering. The successful candidate is expected to lead a research program involving integrated photonic components and quantum optics.

Besides top level research the tasks of the professor include teaching experimental physics e.g. in our MSc course „Photonic engineering“ as well as raising external funding and participation in academic affairs.

The requirements for employment listed in § 47 and § 50 Baden-Württemberg university law apply.

Applications (either electronic or paper form) include CV, publication record and a statement of research interest and should list possible local collaborations e.g. within the SFB/TRR21 and IQST or SCOPE.
