The lecture series "Mathe Macht!" started into the winter semester 2022/2023 with the topic "Mathematicians in Management Consulting". Mr. Niklas Urban and Mr. Max Gräser from KPMG AG gave a multifaceted insight into their field of work in the Financial Services and Risk & Treasury division in the banking sector. The students were able to gain an impression of their involvement in the projects and the demands of everyday work. Interesting were also the very personal experiences when entering the professional life. This was also a topic in the subsequent discussions with students and doctoral students of the department. Both speakers studied mathematics; Mr. Gräser earned his master's degree at the Department of Mathematics at the University of Stuttgart.
