Prima Prize for Annika Belz and Jessica Renz

The Prima Prize, endowed with 1,000 euros, honors outstanding theses by female graduates of the university. It was established on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the first female graduate - chemist Nora Kräutle - at Stuttgart University of Technology. The award ceremony took place on "Research Day at the University of Stuttgart" on July 6, 2022.

This year, two female scientists from Faculty 8 received the prize: Annika Belz, whose master's thesis in physics was described as an outstanding, independent work by an exceptional talent, and Jessica Renz, whose master's thesis in mathematics was praised in particular for its interdisciplinary collaboration with biology and its extensive range of topics.
