The new Study Compass of the Universität Stuttgart aims to give prospective students a realistic impression of what to expect in a course of study. This enables them to decide whether the course of study suits them.

The bachelor's degree courses in Mathematics and Teaching Qualification Mathematics are presented in detail. In addition to a short profile, the structure and contents of the study programme are explained. Six students and two lecturers of the department give an insight into the challenges of studying mathematics and describe their personal impressions in a video.

The expectation check with nine questions and answers about the study program as well as the seven sample tasks developed by Dr. Friederike Stoll, Prof. Michael Eisermann and Stefan Kohl should also make the choice of study programme easier.
