On July 14, 2022 16 Ukrainian students, who currently attend the Landesgymnasium für Hochbegabte Schwäbisch Gmünd, were guests at our faculty.
After a lecture by PD Dr. Peter Lesky on sets and infinities and a joint lunch, the students had the opportunity to gain experience with electronic kits in the Physics Laboratory, to follow a demonstration of mathematical instruments at the Department of Mathematics and to participate in guided tours through the Computer Museum.
Afterwards, we received the following feedback: "Thank you very much for an interesting and eventful day. The kids are excited about the physics lab and the mechanical math equipment."
