As of April 1, 2022, Jun.-Prof. Christina Lienstromberg will strengthen the Department of Mathematics at the University of Stuttgart. She takes over the new tenure-track professorship at the Institute for Analysis, Dynamics and Modeling.
Jun.-Prof. Lienstromberg's research focuses on nonlinear partial differential equations and their applications in fluid dynamics. In particular, she is concerned with thin film equations and non-Newtonian fluids.
In the upcoming summer semester, Ms. Lienstromberg offers the master seminar "Thin-film equations with non-trivial dynamics" (in cooperation with Dr. A. Ghosh and Prof. Dr. J. Velázquez from Bonn) as well as the master lecture "Strongly continuous semigroups and hyperbolic evolution equations".
The department welcomes Mrs Lienstromberg and wishes her a good start in Stuttgart.
