July 18, 2019

The School Competition is an offer of the Fakulty of Mathemetics and Physics for High School Students

Each year we organize a Mathematics and Physics Competition for groups of school students in their final school years, where different schools compete against each other. This year this competition took place on June 29 at the Science Day of the University of Stuttgart with 22 teams and 107 high-school-students. They had 70 minutes to solve problems in analytic geometry, electricity and number theory.

The first prize together with a travelling trophy went to the Landesgymnasium für Hochbegabte Schwäbisch Gmünd, the second prize was shared between the Johannes-Kepler-Gymnasium Leonberg and the Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium Marbach a.N. and two third prizes went to the Georgii -Gymnasium Esslingen and the Eduard-Spranger-Gymnasium Filderstadt.
