On November 20, 2019 the information day for high school students took place at the University of Stuttgart.
The Department of Mathematics was represented with a well-attended information stand. The course manager Dr. Friederike Stoll, lecturers, doctoral students and postdocs answered the students' questions on the subject of mathematics. Interested students were able to check their expectations of the course of study in an expectation check. For trying out and calculating, the mathematics exercises "What profit can you expect?" and "Mathematical treasure hunt" with solutions and explanations were available. The members of the Student Council had prepared various mathematical problems for the visitors. Apl. Prof. Jens Wirth presented the courses of study at the department to the interested students in a lecture.
