From September 30 to October 5, 2018 the Conference "Fractal Geometry and Stochastics 6" took place at Bad Herrenalb.

This conference was the sixth in the series ‘Fractal Geometry and Stochastics’. Starting in 1993, the first five conferences were organized by Professors Martina Zähle (FSU Jena) and Christoph Bandt (Uni Greifswald) and have become the internationally leading regular meetings on fractal geometry. All the meetings were sponsored by the DFG.

The program included 12 keynote lectures, 15 invited lectures, 49 contributed lectures and a poster session. Many talks were devoted to classical fractal geometry. The 122 participants from 22 countries were also ask to vote for the “Best Poster Award” which let to interessting discussions between the established experts and the early stage researchers.
